At Joyous Puppies Za, we strive to provide exceptional care for your pets and ensure transparency in all our transactions. Please review our refund policy below to understand our guidelines for cancellations, returns, and refunds.

1. Boarding and Services

  • Deposits:
    A non-refundable deposit is required to secure reservations for Puppies, daycare, or specialized services (e.g., training sessions). This deposit will be applied to your total balance.
  • Cancellations:
    • 72+ hours notice: Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the scheduled service will receive a refund of any pre-paid amounts (minus the non-refundable deposit).
    • Less than 72 hours notice: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled service.
  • No-Shows:
    Clients who fail to arrive for their scheduled reservation without prior notice forfeit all payments.

2. Grooming Services

  • Cancellations:
    • 24+ hours notice: Full refund or rescheduling with no fee.
    • Less than 24 hours notice: A cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost will apply.
  • Dissatisfaction:
    If you’re unhappy with your pet’s grooming experience, please notify us within 24 hours. We will work to resolve the issue promptly, which may include a discount on future services.

3. Training Programs

  • Cancellations:
    • 7+ days notice: Full refund (minus deposit).
    • Less than 7 days notice: No refunds.
  • Program Interruptions:
    Refunds for partially completed training programs are issued at the discretion of management and may require a prorated calculation.

4. Retail Products

  • Unopened Items:
    Returns within 14 days with proof of purchase will receive a full refund or exchange.
  • Opened Items:
    Non-defective products (e.g., food, toys) cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Defective items may be exchanged for the same product.

5. Exceptions

  • Kennel Cancellations:
    If Joyous Puppies Za must cancel a service due to emergencies (e.g., severe weather, facility issues), a full refund or rescheduling will be offered.
  • Pet Illness/Emergency:
    Refunds may be issued with a veterinarian’s note confirming your pet’s inability to attend.
